More than 100 people attended the Healthy Ageing Partnership (HAP) Active Morning Tea today. The event was held at the Maroochy RSL in celebration of all seniors in the region. The RSL put on a delicious spread of mini-sandwiches and sweet treats which was enjoyed by all. Suncare’s Community Engagement Manager Rob Cross hosted the event and introduced Brent Miller who opened the event with Welcome to Country and a didgeridoo performance. The entertainment then continued with Totally Charlie who got everyone singing and even dancing in the aisles.
A big thank you to the network of Sunshine Coast Services and organisations who sponsored this event to support the senior community. The event was one of many activities being held throughout Seniors Week.
