D Cafe - what is this?

11 May 2018

The D Cafe meetings are for carers of people with Dementia. They are held regularly across the Sunshine and Central Coasts and offer the opportunity to meet other people in similar situations and share stories.

During these informal meetings, carers can talk about what is currently working for them, and what could work better. Information is available about Carer Support Programs and services to help in caring roles.

Guest speakers are often invited to attend, and they bring a wealth of knowledge and information about how best to support the person and their carer.
