7 Sunshine Coast Marathon - Seniors Week 2018

A fantastic day of walking, talking, laughing and enjoying the beautiful Sunshine Coast winter weather.
The Suncare over 50s Team took on the 2018 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon for the 2km community walk. More than 100 entrants joined the team this year, we were thrilled to see the sea of orange t-shirts adding a bit of Suncare colour to the crowd!

Same time next year Team Suncare?!

Big thank you to the Sunshine Coast Council, COTA, Atlas Multisports Coaching and Never 2 Old 2 for your support with this growing event.

In the 8 weeks of being on the Short-Term Restorative Care Program I regained enough mobility so as to not use my walking aids, and I no longer have the fear of falling.
I would definitely recommend this program to others.

I did not know what was available until we had an assessment. The support provided was enormously helpful! They are wonderful and there is no problem. One phone call and it was done. The flexible respite options are great. I have even had spur of the moment respite for unforeseen events. It was available on the day/time I requested.
