Home Care Packages - Gold Coast

With a Suncare Home Care Package, you’re in the driving seat, we’re just here to offer support.  

How can I receive a Home Care Package?  

All Home Care Packages are allocated through My Aged Care.  

Once you have been allocated your Home Care Package, you will have control of your services. You will be able to discuss with your care coordinator what services you would like to receive. As well as when and how frequently your services are delivered. 

I have my Home Care Package approval letter. 

If you’ve already received your approval letter, you can select Suncare as your preferred home care provider. You will have to act quickly as you have 56 days from the date your package has been assigned to find a Gold Coast based service provider and enter into a Home Care Agreement. Call us if you need extra time to decide, we can organise an approval letter extension to be granted through My Aged Care

I have a Home Care Package and I want to change to Suncare?  

You can change Home Care Package providers whenever you like. You will need to let your current provider know the date you want to stop receiving their home care services before you change to Suncare. Contact us and we'll organise a Care Coordinator to visit you and discuss your needs. 

How do I activate my Home Care Package with Suncare?  

Once you have called Suncare on 1800 786 227 and had a discussion about your needs, we will organise a Care Coordinator to come to your Gold Coast home and chat with you. Your Care Coordinator will discuss your goals and service needs. We kindly ask you to have your referral code ready for your meeting with your Care Coordinator.
