Suncare aims to become an acknowledged leader and innovator in the Aged Care, Disability and Community sectors, based on its ability to consistently establish, influence and apply best practice services principles and standards.

Suncare aspires to strengthen an individual, family and communities capacity who experience adversity, to improve quality of life and remain living in and engaged within society.
Our Objectives
- Suncare’s Objectives are:
- To promote policies, practices and services that advance well being and justice for older people.
- To promote the positive contribution of older people to their own well-being and a more caring and just community
- To facilitate partnerships between local older people’s organisations, aged service agencies, Government, the private sector and community groups in working towards well-being and social justice for older people;
- To promote and engage in research of matters concerning older people including local surveys and studies;
- To auspice and resource new organisations within the aged sector at a local level up to the point at which they are able to operate independently;
- To provide, direct to older people and their carers, services, facilities and programmes, which contribute to their well-being and independence;
- To contribute to positive community understanding of ageing, and to enable all sectors of the community to plan for positive ageing through education, advice and activity programmes;
- To develop links with, and assist, other organisations working to achieve similar objectives to those of Suncare.
