Maroochydore Community AlternativeTransport ServiceThe Maroochydore Community Alternative Transport and Social Service is funded by a joint Commonwealth/State Program - H.A.C.C. (Home and Community Care).
The transport service is designed to assist frail older people and people with a disability within our community to shop, enjoy social outings, and attend medical and other appointments. The social support service is designed to assist with meeting the person's social needs, and/or accompanying them in order to participate in community life.
Areas CoveredThe service provides door-to door transport covering the areas of Maroochydore, Bli Bli (South of the bridge), Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba, Mountain Creek, Glenfield, Buderim, Diddillibah, Kiels Mountain. The availability of the service in your area differs daily and is dependent on availability of vehicles and volunteer drivers.

Transport for ShoppingThis service collects the person from their home between 10.30am and 11.15am and transports them to the Sunshine Plaza. At 1.30pm the bus leaves the Plaza to take the passengers home. Assistance will be provided with shopping parcels. The bus is fitted with a hoist for two wheelchairs, with 15 other seats.
