Since establishment, Suncare Community Services Inc. management have provided services to the community through the dedicated, caring and professional commitment of staff and volunteers of the network of Commonwealth Carer Respite & Carelink Centres including four Carebus mobile information units, Direct Respite Services, Meals on Wheels, Maroochydore Day Respite Centre, Community Alternative Transport Service.
The organisation consists of a growing number of dedicated and greatly valued staff and volunteers working within its diverse range of community services and as such has been able to respond successfully to the exceptional population growth within the Brisbane North, Sunshine Coast, Central Queensland and Wide Bay regions.

Suncare Community Services Inc. has attained current accreditation with the following accreditation agencies:
Suncare Accreditation includes:
- Home and Community Care (HACC) Standards
- Queensland Disability Services Standards (QDSS)
- AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management Systems) Standards
The accreditation process involves Suncare submitting its centre’s and services for review by an independent agency.
Suncare recognise that accreditation is a vital process in continuous organisational improvement and the achievement promotes a high standard of excellence in service delivery. Processes such as accreditation assist organisations to continuously look for opportunities to improve overall performance and service delivery, ensuring the provision of strong leadership, continuity of a culture of continuous quality improvement, and a strong focus on clients and service outcomes.
