Social Support
Social Support is assistance provided by a paid worker or volunteer either within the home environment or in the community. The aim of the program is to meet needs for social contact and to participate in community life.
Support is provided to both individuals and groups. The service can include friendly visiting services, letter writing, shopping assistance, appointments, bill paying and banking by accompanying you when completing these activities.
Group outings are provided on a frequent basis such as mystery outings, walking club, coffee club, and craft activities.
