It is generally considered a well known fact that a visible link with a not for profit organisation, otherwise known as a ‘charity’, can greatly increase public perception of an organisation and its services.
Today many Australian companies are pledging their support for their preferred ‘charity’ in a myriad of ways including Car Sponsorship Program, Corporate Partnerships, Corporate Sponsorship of events and activities, Donations and Gifts in kind
Suncare is a well known and respected not-for-profit organisation with a proud history of providing caring services to those in need. Whilst the ‘heart’ of our organisation is the compassionate care provided by our dedicated team of staff and volunteers, the ‘life blood’ of the organisation is the generous support we receive from our corporate and industry partners and funding bodies. With that support we are able to continue to provide high quality and innovative services that directly benefit and enhance the quality of life for our Suncare clients.

Donations
For Suncare Community Services to continue to provide the current level of high quality service to our regional communities it is essential for the organisation to operate fundraising and support programs. Much of this fundraising comes from individuals and groups in the community, and through our own staff members and volunteers who generously donate their time or money to help our cause.
Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible and its easy to do, simply:
Suncare has very strict policies to ensure that donor details remain completely confidential (unless the donor specifies otherwise in writing). Therefore we never give any other organisation or individual names or addresses of our donors.

Gifts in Kind
A gift in kind is an item of value other than cash that is donated to Suncare Community Services.
Examples of gifts in kind include:
- items of furniture
- medical supplies or equipment
- catering supplies
- Land and buildings
The gifts in kind are generally of value in providing services to the community. A gift in kind may be made by an individual, business, or service club and may be given to a specific designated program under the auspice of Suncare.

Car Sponsorship
Suncare has a fleet of over 40 vehicles across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane North and Central Queensland regions with support staff clocking up tens of thousands of kilometres each year.
Now more than ever Suncare needs your support.
Vehicle sponsorship opportunities exist in your local community, with sponsorships starting as low as $10 a day or $3,300 per year inclusive of GST, offering your organisation 365 days a year coverage in your local community.
Sponsorship of a Suncare vehicle ranges from up to 12 months of highly visible logo branding on a Suncare vehicle in your local community or your logo on one of our Carebus ‘mobile information units’.
Did You Know?
Suncare is a well respected not-for-profit provider of a diverse range of required community services including a 24 hour per day emergency respite service.
Each year, Suncare touches the lives of many people through vital care and respite support services such as the 24 hour emergency and in home respite service, cottage overnight respite, carer respite for carers of people with disability, mental health programs, meals on wheels, the day respite centre, community transport and the Carebus mobile information units.
The services we offer are designed to be flexible, meet the needs of carers and those they care for, maximise independence and enhance the quality of life of both carers and the person they care for enabling people to stay in their home as long as they choose.

Memorials
Memorial donations are a special way to remember friends and loved ones who have passed away. A memorial gift is a sensitive and practical way of expressing your feelings and helping someone else in need.
Memorials can be established in many ways:
- As a tribute in lieu of flowers
- As an anniversary gift 'In Memoriam'
- As a regularly pledged donation 'in Perpetual Remembrance'
- As a Gift from your Will in this way creating a lasting memorial
When a memorial gift is made to Suncare Community Services or to one of the programs that provided services to you and your family we will send you a receipt and the next-of-kin receives a letter advising of your support and remembrance.
