Community Alternative Transport Service

The Maroochydore Community Alternative Transport Service is designed to assist frail elderly people and people with disabilities within our community to shop, enjoy social outings, attend medical and other appointments and participate in community life.
The Transport Service is run under the auspice of Suncare Community Services Inc. and funded by a joint Commonwealth/State Program – HACC (Home and Community Care).

A prospective client will be assessed prior to or at the time of commencing a service under the ONI (Ongoing Needs Identification Tool). If you already receive a service from another HACC Agency and have been assessed on the ONI, permission will be requested so as to receive the information thus saving you the inconvenience of another assessment.
